|Poojas (Archane and Abhishekam) / Sevas to be Performed at Sri Kshetra Ganagapur Dattatreya Temple
Below is the List of Sevas / Poojas (Abhishekam) that one can perform at Sri Kshetra Ganagapur Dattatreya Temple:
Suvarna Paduka Pooja (7am-2pm) :
Paduka Pooja in which the Devotees can offer Flowers to the Suvarna (Golden) Padukas of Lord Dattatreya and also get a Shriphala Prasad of Coconut blessed by touch of Padukas.
Maha Pooja :
In this Seva the devotee can sit in front of the Garbhalay Doors and after the required Sankalpam perform Paduka Puja as well as Kshirabhisheka (Milk Abhishekam) to the Sphatika Linga worshipped by Sri Narasimha Saraswati Swami.
Kesara Lepan Paduka Poojan (7am-2pm) :
This Seva is of Great Importance at Ganagapur as the Kesara (Saffron Paste) is Smeared on the Swamis Nirgun Padukas and the same Kesara Lepan is given to the Devotees as the Prasad in a small box. This Prasadam is of Great Importance and is considered as the Main Prasad of Sri Kshetra Ganagapur.
This Seva is closed since November 2014 as decided by the Priests and Temple Committee in order to maintain sanctity of the Said Seva. But still the seva can be performed through the Main Pujaris of the Temple if informed one day prior. The seva will be done during the early morning puja and the prasad of the same can be given to Devotee.
Note: As the Maha Naivedyam is offered to the Lord From 12pm-1pm there will be no Pilgrims pooja for an hour. The Dharma Darshanam at Ganagapur Dattatreya Temple Continues throughout the Day (i.e 3am-9pm)
Rudrabhishekam to the Shiva Lingam :
Rudrabhisheka of Eka avarthan / Ekadasha aavarthan etc., can be performed in the premises of Devasthan / Abhisheka hall.
Pallakhi Seva (Palanquin of the Lord Datta) :
Everyday at Ganagapur there will be Pallakhi Seva of the Lord Datta at around 7.30 to 8.30pm and the Palanquin will be Circumambulating the Temple along with Chanting and Singing hymns in praise of the Lord Datta and the Devotee performing this seva can have Darshana Opportunity by sitting in front of the Deity of Shri Datta (Utsav Murti of Palakhi) exquisitely decorated with Mahapooja.
Madhukari Bhiksha Annadanam Seva (Offering Alms):
There is an assurance given by Shri Guru Narasimha Saraswati (Lord Datta) to the people of Ganagapur in Shri Guru Charitra i.e.,
Vasathi Rani Sangamase Jate Nithya Bikshese Taya Vare Gangapurase Madyana Kala Pareyasa
In these Marathi Words Shri Datta Guru has given an Assurance to all his Devotees that he would forever continue to accept alms at Sri Kshetra Ganagapur in the Afternoon Time. As it is believed that Datta Maharaj himself takes the bhiksha here at afternoon , each and everyone Visiting Ganagapur must offer Madhukari (Bhiksha/alms) to Some people atleast and also accept bhiksha from 5 houses as the Prasadam.
Shri Guru Charitra Parayan:
Shri Guru Charitra is the Most Important Grantha of Datta Sampradaya that recounts the Life History of Shri Dattatreya, Shripad Shri Vallabha and Shri Narasimha Saraswati. The reading of which provides Spiritual, physical and Worldly well being to the Devotees. In this Seva the Sankalpam will be done in the name of the devotee for the solution of some obstacle / Problems. People Suffering of Various Problems like Physical and Mental illness and Financial Crisis can get them solved. Also people having Kundali Dosha (Defect in Horoscope) are now suggested by many Astrologers to perform the Guru Charitra Parayana. This Seva can be done for 7days (1 Parayan),14days(2 Parayan),49days(7 Parayan) etc..

Nandadeep Seva (Deeparadhana) for Deepas in the Garbha Gruha:
In this Seva Sankalpam will be done in the Name of the Devotee for his Spiritual and Worldly Well being.
This seva can be done for a specified period of time like 1 week, 3weeks, a month etc.
Sarva Seva : Includes all the Sevas at the Temple from Morning to Night.
Other Important Sevas at Ganagapur Temple like Noon Maha Naivedya to Lord Datta, Datta Yaga Homam and other Havans, Shata Rudrabhisheka, Maha Rudra, Laghu Rudra etc and Brahmnical Practices like Javala, Upanayan (Munjvi) etc can also be performed at the Kshetra by contacting us well in advance.
